Luxury lodging company Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has introduced “Unforgettable Experience,” a new individual incentive gift card to the reward and recognition marketplace. And with people itching to travel—taking a vacation tops most people’s wish list for when the economy fully recovers, according to several surveys, and individual travel incentives have been on the rise the past year—the product is timely.
An Unforgettable Experience award entitles the recipient and a guest to a stay at their choice of one of 49 participating Four Seasons properties worldwide for one or more nights (depending on the package purchased for the award) and breakfast for two, including related taxes, gratuities and service charges, when applicable. All awards are presented in an elegantly packaged gift card with no expiration date.
Buyers can choose from five award “collections” based on two room types. Collections A, B, and C are for deluxe room accommodations or equivalent; Collections D and E are for executive suites or equivalent. Each collection has different price levels. Within each room type, the higher the price, the more destinations the recipient can choose from, along with fewer blackout dates and minimum night stay requirements.
Collections can be purchased in increments of a nightly stay, allowing for full flexibility in designing the award card to meet various motivational needs and budgets.
For added value, Four Seasons is offering a 10 percent discount on the new card for awards purchased by April 30, 2010.
Third-party incentive houses also are eligible for a 10 percent commission applied to the price after the 10 percent introductory discount. Unforgettable Experience cards must be bought and sold as part of an incentive, motivation, recognition or sales promotion initiative. Incentive houses will need to submit a description of their initiative for review and approval.
Collection pricing is available only upon request. Contact Lynn Pavony at lynn.pavony@fourseasons.com, call (866) 554-4731, or visit the
