Tivoli Audio has added Bluetooth wireless connectivity to its highly regarded line of radios and audio systems. The Bluetooth models use several technologies to ensure high-quality audio input from any Bluetooth-enabled music source, such as an iPod, smartphone, or computer. Like all Tivoli radios they are highly customizable by corporate buyers.
Two of Tivoli’s most popular lines, the Model One AM/FM Radio and the PAL portable radio, now have separate Bluetooth models. For all other Tivoli radios, including older models, the BlueCon 1 is available. It is a small, simple-to-use Bluetooth wireless receiver that attaches to a device's auxiliary input and can pick up Bluetooth wireless signals from a minimum 30-foot reception range. It weighs just 0.16 pounds and retails for $149.99. It is available in a number of colors matching other Tivoli products: light aluminum, anodized aluminum, cherry, walnut, midnight black, and frost white.
The Model One BT has all the features of its non-Bluetooth cousin, including a sensitive analog AM/FM tuner and three-inch, long-throw driver for exceptional fidelity. It also has the 30-foot range and can remember up to eight Bluetooth-paired devices. It retails for $259.99 and comes in eight colors: black ash/silver, black ash/black-silver, cherry/cobalt blue, cherry/silver, maple/hunter green, walnut/beige, wenge/bronze, and white/silver.
The PAL BT – Bluetooth Portable Radio has the original’s 2.5-inch, long-throw driver, sensitive analog AM/FM tuner, and 15-hour battery life (fully rechargeable in three hours). It also has the minimum 30-foot Bluetooth range. It retails for $299.99 and is available in four glossy colors: black/white, blue/white, red/white and white/white.
