Audio industry powerhouse Bose will introduce three new headsets next week that not only produce improved sound, but also use Bose’s new StayHear tips for greater stability and comfort, especially for use with handheld devices when on the go or working out.
The company claims that with the new in-ear products, the music sounds smoother and more natural, instruments have better detail and definition, and high frequencies and vocals are reproduced with improved clarity. The tips are made of soft silicone and designed in a rounded profile, making it easier to fit inside the bowl of the ear while also conforming to the upper ridge of the ear, thereby more easily remaining in place while in use.
Bose IE2 audio headphones can be used with MP3 players, personal computers and digital music players. The audio headphones replace the Bose in-ear headphones and are available beginning August 23, 2010 for $99.95.
The MIE2 and MIE2i headsets were designed for music-enabled mobile phones and can be used to take calls via an in-line microphone and one-touch answer/end button for switching from music to calls and back. The Bose MIE2 is compatible with many mobile phones—including all iPhone models and many BlackBerry devices. It replaces the Bose mobile in-ear headset and is available from August 23, 2010 for $129.95.
The Bose MIE2i has been designed exclusively for use with select Apple products, including the iPhone, iPod, iPad, and MacBook Pro. Its in-line microphone provides access to certain voice applications in Apple products, and the in-line remote lets users adjust volume and navigate through stored music directly from the headset. It will be available beginning October 2010 for $129.95.
None of the new products are noise cancelling or sound isolating. Each comes in small, medium, and large sizes, as well as with the original tips for a more traditional fit and look. For more information, visit www.incentiveconcepts.com
