Promotional awards supplier Crystal D has released its line of 2011 products, with more than 150 new award styles, color options, and eco-friendly products, along with prices ranging from $6 to $680. Its signature crystal awards line and eco-friendly stone awards received particular attention.
“Our collection of optical crystal and cultured stone awards has been expanded, as has our line of golf awards with 12 new items. We’ve also added a few grand awards to our Signature Gallery,” says Audra Lehnert, marketing coordinator for the Minneapolis-based Crystal D. “Some of the awards symbolize teamwork in new ways, while others burst with color.”
Color Trends
One of those new colorful items is the Allegiance Award (Item #7252), a bright-blue, figure-eight-styled item meant to evoke and reward commitment. Prices range from $296.25 to $310.75, depending on the quantity purchased. Additional new color options include the Pinion Award (Item #6772, pictured above), from the Emerald Gallery, in clear glass with tension-suspended emerald-green crystal balls, priced from $196.75 to $331.25; the Conquest Award (Item #6746) in a new black-glass shield design ($132 to $230), and the abstract Allure Award (Item #6765) in clear and blue crystal, from $123 to $182.75.
Recognizing Teamwork
The new Unity Award (Item #6729) symbolizes teamwork and is the first time that the image of multiple people standing alongside each other is available in optical crystal and black glass, according to Lehnert. Prices range from $187.75 to $197.75.
Star Performers
Two new options for recognizing the very best employees include the Constellation Award (Item #6918, $645 to $679.50) and the Starburst Award (Item #6919, $681.75 to $717.50), each a collection of crystal stars of varying heights that appear to be shooting upward from the base of the item.
“Current research in human resources reveals that many employees will begin to job hunt as the economy improves. This makes employee recognition timely and important for the remainder of 2010 and all of 2011,” says Lehnert. “Showing appreciation to an employee fosters loyalty and improves the relationship between the employee and his or her manager. As loyalty grows and the strength of the manager-employee relationship improves, productivity will increase and the employee will be less likely to seek employment elsewhere.”
